Ulat sa Bayan 2023: Municipal Government’s CY 2022 Annual Report on Progress and Achievements

The Local Executive Chief of Taytay, Palawan, Hon. Christian V. Rodriguez, successfully conducted the Ulat sa Bayan 2023, which highlighted the accomplishments of various sectors such as Social Development, Economic, Institutional, Environment, and Infrastructure. Attended by local officials, barangay leaders, student organization leaders, civic organization leaders, local government employees, and employees of national government agencies, the program emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and collaboration between sectors to achieve the goals of the local government.

Serbisyong Publiko, Hatid sa Inyo: A Day with Barangay sa Barangay Abongan

A Day with Barangay is part of the local government’s program led by Municipal Mayor Christian V. Rodriguez to bring basic services and community outreach to the barangay.
The program included government employees from different offices and departments, as well as men-in-uniform, with the aim of responding to the needs of the community and providing basic services.
The program included a Youth Camp and Youth Sports Program, a Wedding Ceremony and Renewal of Vows, distribution of basic necessities to Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities, and school supplies to students.
The program also featured performances from LGU Dancers and Singers, free food, and ice cream for children, making for a tiring but fulfilling day for everyone involved.

PANGALAGAAN ANG PUSO, SA ARAW NG MGA PUSO

Locals in Taytay, Palawan gathered at the Kuta Grounds on February 14, 2023, for the Heart Health Awareness Day program organized by the Municipal Health Office (MHO). The event, attended by various national agencies and local government employees, aimed to promote healthy living and prioritizing heart health. The day began with screenings for blood pressure and fasting blood sugar, followed by the main event with speeches from health officials and local leaders. The program ended with a fun and energizing Zumba session led by MHO staff. In addition, a PhilPEN assessment and enrollment for the Hypertension and Diabetic Club was conducted at the Municipal Health Office. Overall, the Heart Health Awareness Day program was a success in raising awareness and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Great news! Our community’s emergency response capabilities just got a major boost. Thanks to the efforts of our Municipal Mayor, Christian V. Rodriguez, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), we are now proud owners of not one, not two, but three brand new Emergency Response Vehicles.

These state-of-the-art vehicles have been specifically acquired to provide fast and efficient responses to emergency health situations in our different barangays. With the arrival of these new vehicles on February 13, 2023, we can now be confident in our ability to provide the highest level of emergency care to those in need.

During the flag ceremony announcements, we had the pleasure of showcasing our new Emergency Response Vehicles. With their flashing lights, smooth-running engines, and distinctive paint marks, they are easy to spot from afar. We are excited to have these new vehicles at our disposal and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our community.

Unang Youth Camp at Youth Sports Program, Pinuno ng Enerhiya ng mga Kabataan

The local government of Taytay, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Christian V. Rodriguez, recently conducted its first Youth Camp and Youth Sports Program as part of “A Day with Barangay.” The two-day program, held in Barangay Libertad, was attended by Out-of-School Youth and In-School Youth from various barangays in the area. The event featured registration, a welcome program, group games, counseling sessions, spiritual focus, mental health and substance abuse advocacy, youth lectures, and an awarding and closing program. The youth expressed their enthusiasm to learn and return to school, while officials emphasized the importance of guiding the youth towards the right path. This program is seen as a positive step towards molding and guiding the youth of Taytay to become the hope of the nation.
