Great news! Our community’s emergency response capabilities just got a major boost. Thanks to the efforts of our Municipal Mayor, Christian V. Rodriguez, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), we are now proud owners of not one, not two, but three brand new Emergency Response Vehicles.

These state-of-the-art vehicles have been specifically acquired to provide fast and efficient responses to emergency health situations in our different barangays. With the arrival of these new vehicles on February 13, 2023, we can now be confident in our ability to provide the highest level of emergency care to those in need.

During the flag ceremony announcements, we had the pleasure of showcasing our new Emergency Response Vehicles. With their flashing lights, smooth-running engines, and distinctive paint marks, they are easy to spot from afar. We are excited to have these new vehicles at our disposal and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our community.

These fully equipped Emergency Response Vehicles are essential components of our proposed SATELLITE EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTERS, strategically located in different areas and barangays. They will serve as a crucial link in the effective and efficient delivery of DRRM services to every Taytayano, bringing us closer to the goal of “Bringing the Government Closer to the People.”

The primary objectives of these Emergency Response Vehicles and Satellite Emergency Operations Centers are:

  • Providing on-scene care and Quick Response Teams (QRTs) to areas with disaster and emergency occurrences;
  • Offering technical assistance in all aspects of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) in the Barangay or Community Level;
  • Facilitating real-time updates and reports for situational monitoring of the Area of Responsibility (AOR);
  • Providing support and immediate assistance to nearby Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees (BDRRMCs) and strengthening community participation (volunteers) since DISASTER PREPAREDNESS is EVERYONE’S CONCERN;
  • Ensuring a well-coordinated response and disaster management system during disasters and emergencies; and
  • Establishing a Local 911 Call Center to provide a central point of contact for all emergency response services.

By leveraging these Emergency Response Vehicles, Satellite Emergency Operations Centers, and the Local 911 Call Center, we can provide rapid and effective emergency response services to our community, ensuring that we are well-prepared to face any challenges that may arise. This is a significant investment in our community’s future, and we are proud to be making this investment in the name of “Bringing the Government Closer to the People” and ensuring the safety and well-being of every Taytayano.

This is a true testament to our municipality’s mantra, “Taytay, Una sa Lahat,” which translates to “Taytay, First in Everything.” This initiative serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment of our municipality to truly serve the Taytayanos and ensure their safety and well-being.

Furthermore, this arrangement will also benefit the LGU by reducing fuel consumption and logistics expenses as Emergency Response Teams will be dispatched from nearby areas and barangays. This will enable us to provide faster and more efficient emergency response services to our community, which is a top priority for our municipality. We take great pride in serving the people by providing easy access to basic healthcare response and needs, and we will continue to work towards improving our emergency response capabilities to ensure the safety and well-being of every Taytayano.
